Mattos Filho offers its clients a wide range of law and non-law activities. As an already established tradition, the firm organized 36 law events in one of our offices, where partners and attorneys presented topics of interest to help our clients stay ahead of the most important issues they face. These events were attended by 1,979 guests. In 2014, we innovated and promoted a series of multidisciplinary events that brought together several practices into a single seminar, enlightening our clients on different legal aspects relating to a particular issue.
Repeating our practice for the eighth consecutive year, the firm published the book Sinopse Tributária (“Tax Synopsis”) which was coordinated by a group of partners in the tax group. The book launch was organized into seminars and debates, and attracted more than 260 guests in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. These events promoted the discussion of relevant tax related topics.
Moreover, Mattos Filho offered its clients 203 online newsletters prepared by its attorneys. In 2015, the reading volume and the most popular topics of this material will be monitored to enable the firm to make necessary adjustments and provide its clients with increasingly interesting information from a business standpoint.
Other numbers gathered by the firm also reflect our commitment to better serve our clients. Last year, 10,840 meetings were held at our São Paulo office with more than 13,870 visitors. In addition, to help facilitate meetings and our clients’ decision-making processes, Mattos Filho offers a unique venue in São Paulo for business lunches. Last year, more than 9,100 meals were served in this space, including breakfasts, snacks, lunches and cocktails.
With regard to Mattos Filho marketing, the pinnacle of our efforts last year was the development of our new website (www.mattosfilho.com.br) launched in early 2015. The website project was based on the demands and experiences of its users, namely, our clients, partners, prospective clients, alumni, and students. It is the latest product of the firm’s branding project, implemented in 2012. The new website contains intuitive navigation standards, a vibrant layout, and state-of-the-art interactive features. It is also smartphone and tablet compatible, and it enables news sharing by e-mail or social media networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
