Ana Carolina specializes in domestic and cross-border transactions involving investment funds, especially private equity, real estate and receivable structured funds, with particular expertise in asset management, securitization, and structured financing. She advices local and global portfolio managers, sponsors, financial institutions and investors in connection with the structuring, fundraising, negotiating and investing in a wide range of investment funds and vehicles, as well as the acquisition and disposition of assets by such funds and vehicles. Ana Carolina has worked as foreign associate in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, focusing in the fund formation practice.

Camila has significant experience in advising clients on insurance and reinsurance matters and complementary pension funds matters (open-end and close-end). Her experience includes assisting clients on incorporation of insurance and reinsurance companies, corporate transactions, drafting of insurance policies and reinsurance contracts, structuring and negotiating insurance distribution contracts, and advising and defending clients under investigation by SUSEP. She is a member of the “Associação Brasileira de Direito de Seguros” (AIDA), the Association of Fellows and Legal Scholars of the Center for International Legal Studies and the International Bar Association.

Cassio stands out for his expertise in the insurance, reinsurance and pension funds areas. He focuses his practice on claims adjustment proceedings and (re) insurance litigation. Cassio is a former Professor of Merger, Acquisitions and Corporate Reorganizations at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and a current Professor of Insurance and Reinsurance in the post-graduate program of Escola Nacional de Seguros. He is a member of "Associação Brasileira de Direito de Seguros" (AIDA).

Claudio´s practice focuses on corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and debt restructurings. His practice also includes capital markets and project finance transactions, assisting both domestic and international issuers, debtors, and underwriting firms and lenders. Before joining the firm, he was a senior associate in international law firms, Shearman & Sterling LLP, and Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP.

Fabiano has experience in regulatory advice for all types of electric power systems (distribution, transmission, generators, commercialization, free and special users). Mr. Brito advised local and foreign companies in inquiries, administrative processes by the Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica - ANEEL - and in judiciary and arbitration processes. He has vast experience in M&A and project development for infrastructure companies, as well as bidding, public private partnership, public law processes and inquiries before regulatory agencies and other governmental authorities.

Luciana has strong experience in regulatory consulting practice in insurance, reinsurance and pension plan (open and closed). Luciana provides regulatory support on mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring operations. She also serves clients on issues related to the preparation and suitability of general insurance conditions, regulations for pension plans and reinsurance contracts, legal analysis of claims, provision of insurers, reinsurers and entities open and closed private pension, deployment and withdrawal of sponsorship pension plans and analysis of regulatory issues that may impact those markets, among others.
